Dental Abroad - Using your Teeth in Malta
Food and Wine
Food is wide ranging with strong Italian and North African influences.
There is good Argentinian beef available.
I recommend www.delborgomalta.com for a great atmospheric meal in the heart of ancient Vittoriosa. There is a slideshow on
their site, with great aerial shots of Vittoriosa.
Locally produced wines are of good quality (e.g. from the Marsovin vineyards, a
stylish and informative website at www.marsovin.com ); also, local wineries import a lot of grapes from Italy and produce the
wine in Malta.
Wines from all round the Mediterranean are available, but also wines from South
America, Australia and the Far East.
The local light beer, Cisk, is very refreshing, though many British and Continental
beers are also available.
